Mediated settlement conferences provide an opportunity for divorcing couples to resolve their disputes through a process known as “mediation.” Unlike a trial, a mediated settlement conference provides the parties with an opportunity to discuss potential resolutions of their disputes. The mediator’s role is to assist the parties in communicating their ideas and suggestions as to potential resolutions. It is often helpful to have a neutral, third party to make sure that the process focuses on a resolution of the parties’ disputes.
Mr. Clyburn has been certified by the State of North Carolina as a family financial mediator.
